Welcome to the advertisement section This will also include things such as Crossovers that I did during my 12 week internship at Whitireia.
***DISCLAIMER***
All the crossovers that I did were not real and none of the promotions are real.
This is an advert about why its important to advertise your business. I did the voice the editing but the script was pre-meditated by Whitireia
This is one of my earlier Ads and personally I can do a lot better now. It was about the new Bose Ad and again - it was a doughnut ad so it had the same beginning and ending but the middle was up to us to change it.
The American Muscle burger ad I decided to make it a hard-cell voiced by Ben Swann as the American and Warren Schutte as the Russian. I wrote and produced and edited the advert.
This was the first advert we had to produce ourselves and find the USP with a client. We were giving a client however but everything else was up to us to find out and incorporate into our ad. Voices was Nats Levi (Female) and Nile Thompson (Male) - I produced and wrote the script
This was voiced by me (Stephen Torr) as Harry and Warren Schutte as Chris - all the editing and production was done by me including the writing - This is a medium - cell all though I feel like this is to "infomercial" like.
I remember having the most trouble with this one - I decided to mix things up a bit and do some slam dunk poetry with a hip-pop theme. This for me was the hardest script for me to write because poetry with a rhyming scheme of AB AB CD CD EF EF GG (sonnet) is difficult. I wrote the script and voiced it and edited the advert.
This was a mixture between hard-cell and soft-cell. These contrasts were done to make the advert more impact and made people want to sign up to the VIP club.
CROSSOVERS
All these crossovers were conjured up by me and because of that, these are not real in the sense of the promotion. These were done just to prove that I can produce a 30-second crossover.
This was an advert I worked on and took me 30 minutes. My editing has gotten so much better - this was for a job application and the usp was to show that I'm outgoing and all that good stuff - I do have short hair now and I don't always wear a blazer because that's not me but for the occasion I did it.
This video was a group project and four people including myself worked on it. It was intended to convince and inform people that the New Zealand Radio Training School is the best place to come to do a course in radio journalism. This was a humour based advert and there was no talking in the actual ad. People who contributed;
Warren Schutte - Student getting diploma, Editor and writer
Stephen Torr (Me) - Person in the studio at the start, Editor, Director, Writer
Nile Thompson - Teacher, Narrator, Writer
Nats Levi - Student walking into building, Costumes
